Pytheas of Massila was a Greek geographer an explorer known for his voyage of exploration to northwestern Europe in about 325 BC. On this voyage he described the midnight sun, Aurora Borealis and the land called Thule which is thought to be Norway. This makes Pytheas one of the first expats to work an live in Norway.
